Love the caddy shot.

Right you are!

Regarding the Caddy, when I decided I was going to shoot some scenes from Sin City, I knew that shot was going to be one of them.

I don't see that one on her IMDB page. You confusing it with Troop Beverly Hills, maybe?

The girl in Uncle Buck was Jean Louisa Kelly - who turned out very cute in her own right. But it's not Gugino.

But she wasn't in Sin City.

Which was BigDad's point. Apparently, whityfrd is mixing up the woman who played Tia on Uncle Buck (Jean Louisa Kelly) with Carla Gugino.

Had a chance to check out both last nite.

SC looks good (as expected, considering the source material).
The movie itself, I liked more than I did previously.
I marveled anew at how revolutionary the imagery RR created for his film.
Most certainly a milestone in cinema.

The audio was excellent IMO.
Dialog very clear and very immediate.

FDTD nowhere near the PQ/SQ of Sin City.
The video is too soft and too de-saturated for my tastes.

Why is Amazon CA now showing FDTD as a preorder with a date of Jan. 6th? Also, whoever has ordered it in the states, how long did it take to get your order from amazon.ca? I ordered Sin City back on Dec. 14th and it shipped expedited international shipping on Dec. 15th. I still have not received it yet in Orlando, FL.

I was getting stuff in IL in 3-4 business days. However:

1) FL is farther

2) It's the holidays - everything is taking longer

My original order finally showed up yesterday, Dec. 22. It was shipped on Dec. 5th.

What kind of problems?
Disregard, audio problem fixed. Not sure what was going on. I put it back in and went through the whole thing and I could not duplicate the problem. Before the audio was dropping out and crackling in the front speakers.

I just finished "From Dusk Till Dawn." I'm not sure if it's because I'm older now, but I couldn't get into the movie! I loved it as a teenager, but now it seems so cheap looking!

Does anyone want to make me an offer for a trade? If not, I'll probably post it on ebay. I'd be willing to trade for the following in Blu:

300
Horton Hears A Who
Wall-E
Edward Scissorhands
There Will Be Blood
The Departed
V for Vendetta
The Shining
Dog Day Afternoon
The Fountain

MODs, if this is against AVS rules, I'm sorry. I just can't watch this amymore.

Go with Ebay

Just ordered my copy of Dusk til Dawn and Butterfly effect. Looking forward in watching these again.

How good is this I watched my copy of dust till dawn I originally thought is was Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS 5.1 as the back cover states but when I played it the audio was DTS HD MA. I guess they were too slack to change the details in the back cover.
