I have a PS3 that I use for my Blu-ray player. It is hdmi to a Sony str-da5300ES which is hdmi to a Sony 60' LCD on silicone HDTV. It is a beautiful thing to behold. I have 8ohm Klipsh speakers for the front, side (realism), and rear speakers. I use a Klipsh 15' SW and a Bose center spkr. I have it set on "Auto" and it sounds great, right up until I bought Harold and Kumar escape from Guantanamo Bay. It is a 7.1 disc. When it plays it occassionaly pops sometimes very loud. can be anywhere from 5-15 min between crackles. The rest of my discs are 5.1 and they don't bring this out in my equipment. Anybody got a clue what is happening?
