how do i run in ( or burn in ) a dvd player

As the title says how do i run in ( or burn in ) a brand new dvd player , how is it done ?, does it beifit the player?, tried the 'search' but came up with nothing. And recommendations ??

hmm you dont burn in a dvd reader/writer on your computer, right?

Not necessary. If anything, running a player for hours on end (for no reason) will likely cause it to malfunction.

Pay no attention to those know-nothings. All DVD players will greatly benefit from a good burn-in and here is the very best method recommended by knowledgeable videophiles and audiophiles everywhere. As you know all DVD players play CDs, and the very best CD to burn-in DVD players (or CD players) is the Slim Whitman version of "Indian Love Call." Play that song at full volume repeatecly for 72 hours without stopping through your surround system and you will be good to go!
