Pleased with the Pioneer Elite AVR? I've got a 6020 and am thinking of going all Pio on electronics.

i can't say enough about the sierra's... i gave them a shot when they came out based upon tom/gene's review at audioholics (as well as other killer reviews), figuring that, at worst, it would only cost me the shipping if i didn't like them... after they were here for about 5 minutes, i knew they weren't going back... i'm not really much into audiophile terms, but they are very accurate and pleasing (i'm primarily a classical/jazz listener)... great (not just good, but great) detail, clarity and resolution... with a minimum of fiddling, they "disappeared" into the room and throw a really nice soundstage and image wonderfully (recording dependent, of course)... they are built like the proverbial brick (^(&*-house... imo, they'd be a bargain at twice the price... and they passed the ultimate vote of my wife, who IS a bit of a golden ear... plus there's the positive of dealing with dave...
yea, VERY pleased with the sc-05... came from a pio 82txs, which i didn't have any "issues" with... but my "guy" and i were chatting after he came back from a pio demo of the sc's, and he was really impressed with them (and he's not given to bs)... i'm an ice amp fan to begin with, so when he offered me a good price on one, i knew i had to have one (i'd been flirting with the idea of a denon)... sounds very good, PLENTY of effortless power with a minimum of heat... easy to set up (reasonably modern gui), and the mcacc really works well... it has the usual collection of sound fields, etc., if someone is looking for that stuff... plenty of "tweakability", if you like to "play"... i'm not using the video part, so i can't comment on that... it's got the typical "nice, but understated" pioneer packaging... more than adequate number of connections, if anything, too many (i really wish cem's would ditch at least half of the number of 'legacy' connections, just to clean the back up some)... i'd buy it again, without a doubt... i'm a bit of a pio fanboy to begin with, but i'd say they have a real winner on their hands with these units...
nice display...

i have a 8g pio (150fd), and that's another thing i'd buy again...
