I have been using a professional Sanyo projector with PowerPoint using 1024 X 768, and in my presentations I have linked MPEG and AVI video file (720 X 480).
The Sanyo projector changes the resolution very quickly.
The other day I used a projector (I don't recall the brand) owned by another company, and when the presentation switched from a slide resolution to a a linked video the screen when black and then 5 seconds later displayed a resolution setting of 720 X 480 (very annoying) and then was finally ready to run the video.
In the next year I will be purchasing two projectors and I want to make sure that this switching is fast, and without showing the new resolution when the PowerPoint Presentation plays a video. What is this switching response time called, and is it listed in technical specifications?
