Forhire,

Actually, it's blank or red on that chart.

Nice find on CNN International HD. Never watch it but others do.

I haven't checked in almost 3 weeks, but TeenNick HD was uplinked. It may just be an upconvert, but it was there.

Military History HD was listed on charts because Buckeye Cable in Toledo announced it but they never launched it.

I don't think it exists. Otherwise BrightHouse would already have it.

Matt,

URGENT NEWS!

Change to wide for Comcast (now finally in more than 50% of Comcast footprint)

I think Matt has either given up this thread or the forum in general. His last post was in early January.

Matt,

You might as well keep Galavision HD wide for Comcast as I now saw it in much more markets I have not checked in months.smile.gif

Matt: Are you still here or just very busy? It's been over 4 months since an update.smile.gif

Thread Starter
All,

I'm no longer able to perform the updates to the chart. Hopefully, as has happened in the past, someone else can step forward to continue the work.

The main hurdle in doing this is finding a way to quickly splice an image of the chart so it can be easily viewed on the web. I have always used a long outdated version of Paint Shop Pro. The images need to be small enough that they can be stored on a free website (I've used Photobucket) without suffering a resolution drop that makes them unreadable.

Good luck!

Where did you find evidence of this?

Oh Matt I am sorry to hear this frown.gif. You'll be missed here.

Matt,

Sorry to hear this. You have done a great job over the years on what has become the standard chart for comparing providers HD lineups.

Best of luck to you and thank you for everything.

With Matt's resignation, someone else will have to take over.

I do not have the time and am not good with charts.

wvvolfan has a chart for his market that he updates. He might be able to do it.

Not sure about forhire's tech skills with this chart but the guy does a lot of research.

Any other candidates anyone can think of?

I've got files on all the different companies already.

oriolesmagic,

I'm not the Admin or Moderator here but are you able to do the spreadsheet stuff?

That's the key here.

I would definitely be willing to do it if others and the admins/mods are okay with it. I don't see no reason why I couldn't handle 2 charts. wink.gif

As most can probably tell I derived mine from the Official one here and changed a few things, added HD RSNs, HD Locals for my DMA, etc.

I currently use Excel 2007 to manage my chart, and save the screenshots in PNG format.

I think since wvvolfan has had experience doing the chart then I say he's our man for the job smile.gif.

Dude, don't yell it's rude. Also if you take the time to actually read before you post you would see that we've been discussing it.

GOOD BYE AVS FORUM!!! I RETIRE TOO ALONG WITH MATT!!!
I've contacted Moderator Dr. Don to get the ball rolling on something here.

wvvolfan: It's great to know we have good candidates. There are big shoes to fill.

Forhire: Happy Retirement. I'll miss your digging to find channels like Chiller HD which I want sooooooooooooooooooo badly.
As requested by Moderator Dr Don, a new thread has been created. Please continue posting all updates for the chart in the new thread. smile.gif
