Military History Channel HD

Yes. It launched on BuckEyeCableSystem in Ohio along with Military History Channel HD

Time Warner Cable is the first provider on the chart to add BBC World News HD, but not the very first provider to add it. SELCO cable in Massachusetts added it first.

Fox,

Bright House was the first on the chart to officially add it but nice info on that smaller system.

This is good stuff and yes, it looks like you are right on both Military Channel HD and Military History HD.

beIN Sport has shown up in HD on my Dish 250 package. It's also showing up (missing graphic) on the Dish site

In a very tiny southern provider. Forgot the name, but their HD lineup is BS (just 40+)!

I have been such a busy cat! Can you believe it?! Another HD channel just launched! This time I know the provider that launched it first! NorthState Communications.


Antenna TV HD


Antenna TV is a channel of shows from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. You're gonna have your work cut out for you Matt! I hope you now consider me your most important member! I don't think it much matters who considers who the most important member, but if you paid attention to this chart, you'd realize that Antenna TV is a subchannel at the local level, so it wouldn't go on this chart anyway.

Marcus: Great find on Chiller HD. I really want this for BHN and think they might get it quickly since they already have the SD channel.

Fox: This chart is about the contributions of everyone and this chart would not be what it is without the contributions of everyone. We are all a team.

It looks like TWC/BHN are going to drop Ovation on the 31st.

Antenna TV is a OTA sub channel I don't think they offer a HD channel.and there OTA feed is 4:3

Why would they bother?  Antenna TV airs only vintage content, and everything on an HD channel of it would be upconversions from SD, except perhaps for some of the commercials.

Broadcasting a channel of only SD content in an upconversion to HD would be a great waste of bandwidth.  I wonder if the announcement that Forhire34cvdn found wasn't for Antenna TV, and the "HD" was a typo in it or a mistake by a confused writer or a confused editor.

No, Marcus, it wouldn't be the first time.  But what's your point?  Surely you aren't offering that as justification for doing it again.

They listed it years ago on a old flyer and it failed to launch.

Quite a few years ago as Chiller HD has been teased for a while.

I think there are others that will come for Direct TV before Chiller HD.

Military Channel HD announced for Time Warner Cable California On or after January 16.

Probubly the same reason TWC & Bright House dropped Fuse last year. Very poor viewership.

TWC/Bright House dropped Fuse last year because of the MSG dispute in NYC. Talks went bad and FUSE was on month to month agreements. It was returned 1 1/2 months later as part of the MSG renewal agreement.
