Could it be a problem in data transfer speed? Is your USB stick fast enough?

I have the same problem, cannot play 192 flac files over the network or through the USB drive - maybe it is the way the flac were encoded? If someone could lend us a sample of a 192 flac file that works for them that we could try that would be helpful!
I know this is a little off topic but it might be useful information that somebody else can use. I've been driving myself nuts trying to figure out why my 906b wasn't getting any of the digital formats from my PS3 or HD-DVD players over HDMI. I had all the right settings for HDMI audio out on both players and all the HDMI ports set up for HDMI audio in. I searched far and wide to find an answer with no luck (unless I missed it somewhere on AVS). Well the bottom line is I figured it out myself. It turns out if you have the Audio TV Out set to ON for the HDMI ports (so your TV speakers will work) then the HDMI IN ports on the 906b ignore the all digital formats set to them. I turned off the feature and behold, beautiful sound. Hope this helps somebody.
