Probably a temporary thing. Last time I tried to order one, it gave me a date of the 14th of September (this was about a week ago). I'm sure they ran out of stock in their local warehouse, and are waiting for it to be replenished before you can order it again. The system is all messed up, so it doesn't let you order something if it isn't in the warehouse, but I wouldn't be too worried. Try again in a week.

I would agree only small amounts showed up at most places, hope that will change soon.

Thanks, guys. I'm still trying to decide if I should replace my buzzing 151 with another 151 or the 141. My local BB/Mag recently told me they would not even carry the Signature line, because they consider it a commercial monitor. Therefore, I told them to just order another 151 for me. However, if what you are saying is true, then perhaps it's not too late for me to push the 141 option again. We'll see...

Geez, I was hoping for more than just 1 QC report on the 141 (buzz, streaks, blotches, dead pixels....etc) by now. Anyhow, my dealer only has 2 panels, 1 is for me and 1 is already sold. So if I don't accept it due to QC issues then I will be back into the waiting game.

I did last week, they arrived in the warehouse last week also. Im waiting for the stand to come in before they deliver.

Only Magnolia stores, not BB. Plus i think this will be a special order Item considering the availability. I dont see them using the inventory for displays. Or, at least till more come in.

The QC could be perfect, but it could be damaged (easily) in shipping. Vancouver, did you check for blotching last night.

Dead pixels can be caused, as well as unseen errors (such as slight dislodging of the color filter that may cause buzz. Whatever causes blotching could be triggered)

is this something new I`m hearing about the buzz....displacement of color filter?

VANCOUVER---
Where did you store your receipts, manuals, paperwork, etc. ? Inside the fancy pioneer box with the certificate of authenticity? What else comes inside that box?

Also-- do I need to keep the box this tv came shipped in? The box is huge and I have no storage place for it. I will be getting the table top stand for it. Will it be safe to transport it in the future by keeping it on the tabletop stand and wrapping the screen with the white wrap it came protected in?
I was just wondering if keeping the box is something people do or if you can transport it safely without the box.

No need to keep the box IMO.

All the reciepts and lit I kept in the extra nice box that comes with the display

Pioneer has stated that the production run for the 9G's will last 18 months. I assume they are including the 9G Signature/Elites in that time frame, and not just non-Elites. The extra 6 months of production time was/is attributed to the transfer of glass mfg'ering to the new Panasonic Plant for the next generation of Pioneer Displays (10G). So take a deep breath, lots of time to get one of these Pio 100%ers!

Thanks for that info. I'll definitely call the manager at BB tonight and push them to change my replacement unit to the 141. Must admit, I'm getting excited all over again, just like I did when I previously ordered the 151!

Hope the 141 lives up to the hype here on AVS. Probably won't but that's OK. At this point, I just want a defect-free panel.
