Does anybody know if the PRO 141FD will mount to the Chief PSB2043 bracket?

I was hoping to have the Chief PNRIW200B inwall mount installed with my 141.

Are the mounting holes different with the 151 vs the 141?

Thanks!

The manuals don't provide that information, so hopefully one of the owners that has a 151 could measure the distance between mounting holes on the back to be certain if they are the same. I'm pretty sure they are.

Maybe we should call this thread "How will I mount my new 141"

It is relevant to the thread, since the PRO-141FD does not come with a stand or mount of any kind.

That being said - I can't wait to see vancouver's pics.

151 mounts will work with 141's, unless someone can prove me wrong

It's an idea Johnny, but I hate to have an extra device to fill just this void. I'm planning on the Pioneer Elite SC-05 to replace my Panny BD30, so I'm really set for BD playback. But I see your point and I guess if all else failed and I decided to go with the 141, it is an option.

You are going to buy a receiver to replace your blu ray player? I think you meant BDP-05FD

Gosh, I hope so!

I had my Chief PNRIW200B with the 501 box installed last week. It would be a shame to have to remove it after such an effort & expense was made. The 141 will stick out only 1.5" from the wall when retracted

I will put a trim box around the opening so when you look at it from the side you don't see the bracket at all

Here is a pix with the PSB2043 bracket attached (really gets attached to the plasma first then the PNRIW2008, but you get the picture).

Do you mean that the TV will be absolutely flush against the wall?
I'm not sure you can have the TV absolutely flush to the wall like that. There needs to be some sort of space for air circulation otherwise it may overheat the TV.

Correct me if I misunderstood what you want to do.

I am just finishing the an wall speakers and cabel hidding. I dont know what the 151 came with but the literature with the 141 is pretty cool.

No, this in-wall bracket fits recessed in the wall just shy of 4", so you have enough room for electrical box *& cables (see pix). See chief website for more info. With mount sticks out .61" when retracted and it extends 24". When you add the bracket and mounting screws and you end up 1.5 inches from the wall.

Assumiing the 141 will fit this 2043 bracket.....

Nice pics! And a very nice setup as well.

What's your IP address? I want to turn on your display and tweak it a bit.

Just kidding.

Do you have any devices attached yet so that you could demonstrate the picture?

ok while wife watches iron ched america I can answer some question and I have some to ask too!

Buzz? Nadda! none! ziltch! Even with a pure white screen I could hear a mouse fart from accross the room with my ear right next to the display.

Out of the box from what I can see the display is set to "standard". I guess I can post some numbers if anyone cares, but to my eyes coming from a professionally calibrated Fujitsu I can say its not calibrated correctly. To much contrast all color settings are set to "0"

PS thanks for the compliments.

I dont have the break in disc or images. I just found out that i cant play the images from USB (which I planed) through my Oppo so I ordered the disc and need to wait for it to arrive. Any suggestions on what I should put the picture to while I wait?

I guess Ill have to do some hunting in D-Nice's Settings thread.

Throw in D-Nice's settings for 111/151 (should be the same), and see what it does. What about blotches? WOW!

I would select PURE mode from the get go. Its closest to the D6500 standard without any other adjustments.
Also select Color space to 2 and set the color temperature to mid-low.

I'm sure you can just download the break in DVD and burn it so you don't have to wait for the disc to arrive by mail. I don't have the link of the top of my head, but someone I'm sure can post it for you.

Congrats on the new monitor. May I ask how you managed to hang it up on the brick wall? Anchors with precise drilling? I'm pretty sure those bricks don't align perfectly between the mounting holes for the wall mount.

Are you in a pitch black room... Only there I can see them, but they are obvious there.

Congratulations! Looks sweet, can't wait to see it in person. How high is the bottom of your 141 to the floor? Looks like my set up.

If you get a chance, I would love know what the mounting hole measurements are. I'm sure their are more pressing matters now but if you get a chance let me know.
congrats and nice pics vancouver.

Is that a small sub sitting on the floor under the bottom left corner of the 141?

view distance is 10 feet.
