I don't know comcast's details, and I don't know the free smtp server program either. That's why I recommended that you "try getting help from someone experienced with the SMTP server software".

And are you saying i should have something different in my Pioneer's settings under Mail Server (SMTP) server address?
No, I said "the Kuro's configuration is ok".

I placed my computers IP address (which is running the SMTP server program) in that field which is 192.168.1.110.
And that seems to be good, since you said that your SMTP server is receiving the mail.

any chance you could send me some screen shots of your Mail Server program's settings,
I don't have my own mail server. In the "Mail Server (SMTP)" field, I have entered the adress of the SMTP server of my ISP. I'm guessing you're trying to set-up your own SMTP server because Comcast's SMTP server requires a connection not supported by the Kuro software (SSL?).

as well as your kuro's settings? then i could try to configure mine the same as yours, as well as it would make it easier for me to ask questions when i can directly compare yours to mine.
My Kuro's settings are very similar to yours. I may not know Comcast or your SMTP server software, but I know a good deal about computers and network, and your Kuro settings seem fine. The same fields are filled in, but with different values of course, since we're not using the same computers or e-mail adresses. And again, if the mail is getting in the free SMTP server and the server does not forward it to Comcast, then it is the free SMTP server config you need to get help with.
Hope this helps!
Dan.
