Alrighty folks, sorry for lurking these forums for a while. I know i'm not really in any place to ask for a favour, but I'm short on time.
here's my conundrum:
I am going to purchase an LCD television within the next 24 hours.
This is going to be with me and 3 friends at school
I want a nice low response time for gaming and (of course) accurate colours, good saturation, and solid overall picture quality.
I've narrowed it down to the Samusing LN40A550
5ms response time is decent, 3xHDMI + 1 USB, 30000:1 is pretty normal, 1080p is mildly useless on 40" but ego padding, price is relatively amazing on amazon (from $892 link coded for spam purposes?)
any alternatives that you guys can suggest?
maybe a cheaper 720p 40 incher or a good value larger screen where 1080p would be noticeable
What you should know
Budget: up to 1300 dollars but as far below as quality will allow.
Size: around 40"
HD Sources: XBOX 360, PS3, occasional laptop connection, and possibility of HD cable in the near future
THANKS IN ADVANCE
