New Denon iPod Dock - Anyone tried

Just noticed new iPod Dock for Denon receievers:

Has anyone tried this?

Seems designed to accomodate new iPods (classic etc) + iPhone, Even after checking out Denon's iPod compatability page I'm still confused about exactly what it will support. and couldn't tell if it still fully supports 5th Gen models.

Denon's chart only lists current models, and as usual, no receiver specific limitations:

I just got the new ASD-11R from Crutchfield last night. I have a Denon AVR-888 receiver and set-up was simple. The device is smooth and works great...a bargain at $99. We have 4 iPods in the house: three Nanos (all are 2nd gen) and a new 120GB classic. They all work well with this Denon dock.

Have you tried playing videos?
If so, can you select video playlists?
jump foward to chapters?

Did you connect via Denon Link + Analog?

Hi,

I just had a new AVS2309 installed and setup with an ASD11R iPod Dock. For the life of me, I cannot get it into "remote mode" to allow vieing of videos and photos. I press the "Mode" button on the remote for "2 seconds or more" as per the instructions but nothing. Have tried turning everything off (inlcuding DocK0 and back on again. Have tried every type of iPod (1st gen Touch, 2nd Gen Nano, 3rd Gen Nano, 3GS iPhone...I have em all!)

Is anyone able to assist (I am sure it's an obvious thing but...)

(BTW I am new to this post and searched for an answer with no luck so pls excuse me if it's somewhere else!)
