This sucks, now I am debating should I go on a get them while they have them, or wait for the next sale, then go back and they could be all gone.

The sale was suppose to end last month but was extended, but now that I found some the sale ends, talk about my luck.

They go off and on sale a lot. I would just wait until they go back on sale and get them then. I had to go out of my area and get my extra chairs though. several round trip.

so would it be possible to get 2 of these in 1-arm, and piece one as a Left Arm and other as a Right arm and have effectively a Love Seat type setup?
You'd probably have to destroy one of the one-arm chairs to do it.
heh, i should've read descripton closely. You can, just buy two 1-arm and you get basically a reclining love seat with two cup holders for $440, not bad

Designed for use with the 2-arm home theater recliner you can kick back and relax with ease in this recliner with an extended footrest. Or join one or more 1-arm recliners with a 2-arm home theater recliner to create a love seat or custom row seating. The overstuffed pillow seat with one contoured arm and cup holder typifies commitment to trend forward design and relaxation!

I guess 3, 1-arms could make a loveseat type setup with another seat that would have two arm rest effectively.

wait what?
Italics part is from the 1-Arm description on K-mart.com, is a little confusing.

I want 2 seats connected to make like a love seat. So one has an arm on left, the other right and connect them in the middle to make a row. I think its saying you can do that by purchasing 2 1-arms?

would just get a reclining loveseat but those don't have cup holders
post #340 of 564
maybe its saying you must purchase a 2-arm, then 2 one arms to attach to it and you could get a love-seat type setup???

anyone that owns the 1-arms, see any reason they couldn't attach to each other without a 2-arm?

FYI: The love seat sleeper sofa is back on sale for $299, sounds like a great deal.

Unfortunately the chairs are not back on sale and are still regular price.

Does anybody use the sleeper sofa in combination with the chairs in their HT? Pics? I am thinking about using the sleeper sofa as my first row of seats and then using 3 of the chairs as the back row on a riser. But I'd like to get a visual of how these would look together.

I got 2 of the love seats, but they aren't in my theatre. I use them to fill other rooms and as guest beds. I love them, they're pretty comfy. They would look killer in a theatre and with the other theatre chairs. I'll take a youtube later on for you

is there any way to hook butt kickers to these?
Yes. See page 8 of this thread. Includes photos.

I got a email from Kmart this morning stating furniture and home sale. So I checked the website and the recliners are back on sale for $208 and $237

no way lol. Used maybe, not new. Of course it depends on what you call leather...like these KMart seats, they kinda look like leather...to each their own.

Well I almost pulled the trigger on the Kmart chairs and then I thought, ya know what i am going to see what the local furniture stores have, so after visiting half a dozen furniture stores I was on the last one and asked "do you have any theater seating?"..."Sure, they said and pointed around the corner" sitting in the corner in a group of three with a sale tag was three leather Berkline Premiers (45088) The price on the tag was $999.00 for THREE....I asked if there were any others in stock and there just happened to be three in a sister store so...I got six chairs for $1999.99. SWEET...agree? So lesson is go check your local furniture stores....

I pulled the trigger on these this weekend and my local Kmart finally got some in so I didn't have to drive to an out of town Kmart to get them. So I picked up 3. Wow I am so happy and impressed by these, very comfortable, soft, nice grain, smooth reclining action. All for under $700. I'll post some pics. later tonight.

After a thorough review of the "cheap seats" sold at K-Mart, I decided to attach some photos of my almost completed Home Theater.

Hey (wlbolton) nice pics. And nice in wall rack. Do you have any heating or air circulation problems with that? Or have you used it much? I thought about doing that but I was concerned about the air circulation.

Hello,
Can someone confirm exactly how wide a row of three seats is? According to the Sears website, a row of three would be 89" but I read a post on here stating a row of three is 85". I have a space of 87" for my back row.
Thanks.
My row of three comes out to 85".

I just picked up 1 2 arm and 3 1 armed chairs.. they are very comfortable albeit a little noisy when people are moving around to find their comfort spot!

I was wondering if these chairs are supposed to "LOCK" into each other? even though they are attached they don't feel like they are "LOCKED" into the one next to them.. I can still slide the 1 arm chairs forward and back the length of the bracket!

any ideas?

Thanks!
I cant slide mine around like that. Maybe I am too weak to do it or maybe its because I have about four of them together in one row.
