Love the reals 3d signs. Add my blu ray 3d sign I emailed you, I think it looks better than the one you have currently. Although I only had a black and gold made because that's the template I sent my friend.

Great to see you back at it and the site back up! Do you have a black and gold Viewsonic (without the birds) and/or a BIC America?

I made a 20x30 poster using these logos. It looks great! I'm looking for a very thin frame. Anyone know where to get one? I'm having trouble finding one.

I just haven't decided as to what color I'm doing my theater in.

I wanted to seek some opinions. I was thinking about changing some of the decorations in my home theater to pick it up a notch. I have some home theater signs that I had when I was able to get them. The top one was a plastic sign that I had made by a vendor on ebay who made such signs and doesn't now (don't know why). The bottom two are actually brushed aluminum. As you can see, they are all very thin.

I was thinking about replacing these signs with six or so 8 x 10 that have been plaq mounted. Plaq mounting is pretty cool because it will bring them out from the wall thereby giving them some depth. The only problem is that so far the silver prints haven't been coming out well (specifically the silver on black). The plaq mounts also use a matte finish which I'm not sure is good or bad without actually seeing it.

The signs in the pictures are about 7 x 11" or 7x 12" so you can see there will be some difference.

So the question is, keep them or replace?

Just to be clear, I printed these out at Walmart using their kiosk. I picked out signs that I thought I could print out without raising any objections. (on that note, the Kiosk prints out the pics so I get them without the employee looking at them so it turns out I could have printed anything). Anyways, they aren't plaq mounted yet. Plak mounting is a seperate process where the photos are basically put on a plak using some sort of matte lamination process. See here.

Attached are pictures I took. I hung the ones I printed out on the right for comparison purposes. Gold on black on top, aluminum on black in the middle, and black on aluminum on bottom. The left are the original signs I had from elsewhere.

You can see that the aluminum ones start looking white especially the aluminum on black, which looks horrible. But I'm not sure if it is the photos or the printing at Wal-Mart that is causing that. The bottom one actually look ok...not as aluminum as I'd like, but with a matte finish you wont get the reflection from the flash.

When I do print them out for real, assuming I do, I will go with MPIX or someplace like that. I'll use a lustre finish even though that hardly seems necessary since I'm going to plak mount them anyways.

The question is, is it the picture or the printer? Maybe a combination of both? The one thing I did is, I didn't select the option to "fix the picture" or whatever that option is. I mean posts 176 and 177 look really good. I haven't yet seen any printed with the alum on black though.

They definately look more grey rather than silverish. If I get some time I'll go make some more copies of the ones that I have to see if I can compare.

I'll also be interested in hearing about your test, Max.

After printing I notice that Emotiva and Elemental Designs signs look darker... not sure if that is the way they are made or how I saved the files - regardless I am more than happy with it! Thank you for your hard work in making these available to us!!

Any chance you can do an Epik Legend or Epik Empire subwoofer sign? And also Arx speakers? For the black signs that is

I wonder if I'm missing it, I cannot seem to find Mitsubishi in the gallery. Aluminum or Black. Search produces nothing. One of the casualties or just me missing it?
