Is there a way to convert blu-ray movies (just the movie) into something that can be streamed to an xbox 360 being used as an media center extender? I've read that wmv would be the most reliable.
I found some guides via google, but they are all pretty old (1 year +) and/or rely on commercial software (like nero). I'd like to know if anything has changed lately.
Another option I found was the xbox hd-dvd emulator. It will supposedly allow you to stream hd-dvds from a networked pc if you have the xbox hd-dvd drive. Can you convert blu-ray movies to hd-dvd? I've seen guide for hd-dvd to blu-ray, but not the other way.
