'Sons of Anarchy' on FX HD - Page 7

The point was to establish that while our anti-heros (the SoA) are pretty despicable, there are even worse scum in the world. There has to be some sympathy for the SoA or the show will be soa.

The club also builds good will from the local business leaders because they have kept corp America ( Walmart, etc ) out. That was reasoning implied why the town allows SOA to coexist all these years with goodwill and little interference.

Probably the best point yet...again, in my opinion.

Anyone else notice that the picture quality seemed like it was filmed with some home camcorders?

Another great episode last night. I saw no problems with the PQ.

I second RemyM's post: great PQ, the baseball bats were nice and sharp
Wonder how Jax is gonna find out about the attack? Looks like Mr. Arkin is in for a rude awakening..

PQ was great here, too. Speaking of bats... Loved the Canseco line, especially delivered to Tom Arnold.

Missed all of Season 1.... started with last week's Season 2 premiere... Great Show!

Just catching up on Season 1, watched the first 2 of Season 2... I really enjoy this. Edgy, unapologetic, and well acted from what I see. Funny thing is that if I didn't recently get FX-HD, I would never have tried it. Amazing what putting a show in HD can do

Why is Half-Sack still a prospect? He seems to be in pretty deeply in all of SAMCRO's illegal activities. He even attends the "round table" meetings, although he doesn't sit at the table (I guess as he is still a prospect). Would not they patch him in before letting him get so much information on the club's activities, and participate in events (such as gun building, running, shootouts etc)

Good to see that Hellboy relieved some of his tension at the end.. wonder how long Gemma will keep her secret?

It usually takes a full year to get your top rocker and it takes approval of every member. Sometimes a single member can delay a prospect getting his top rocker/center patch . Plus it is good/fun to have a prospect to do those nasty jobs that a patched member would have to do. It is unusual for a prospect to attend the meetings.

I suspect we will see him get his top rocker and center patch soon and get a big celebration party !

It has to be next episode...there's no way they can drag it out any longer...

Another great episode last night. Hands down my favorite show, the only show I really look forward to each week.

If you keep saying that every week eventually you'll be right. This is one of the main story lines of this season, it's not going to wrap up that quickly.

haha yeah I guess...we got pretty close this time...

I guess she realize that by killing the skinhead, she'd incite a war anyways...or perhaps she was just too scared to pull the trigger...

I loved the fact that she had the small 22 in her purse and the Glock in car...

Great episode, season one was good, two is even better. Since they ditched that bike in my hometown I'll be spending the day out looking for it....

I really, really like Sons of Anarchy on many levels. One of my favorite things about this show is that the "bad" guys are more likable than the government agents, cops, law dogs, etc.

I had thought this was shot on 35mm film but a review I found said that it is shot on Panavasion Genesis HD cameras at 1080p24.

You really want to hate Clay but he's also so likable...you almost want to root for him...but then you remember all the awful stuff he has done...

I love the disparity that the creators push at the audience and then let us figure out who we want to come out on top...

Last night 's show was so frustrating to watch. There is no way a hospital worker makes a call and bail bondsman are there in a few minutes in middle of nowhere CA.

Also there is no way the feds while trying to make a RICO case would have missed that old warrant/bail jump from Oregon, but a bail bondsman finds it in a matter of minutes.

Why would bails bondsman care if he was beat up, they could have just blamed his injuries on the bike accident- he hadn't had any medical treatments yet.

I agree with the call from the hospital being a large leap in what is believable. There are other shows out there that do this on a regular basis and make the shows unwatchable for me, good thing there's not too many holes in the writing with SOA.

I love the show but the whole premise is flawed by your logic.
A gang controls the town and operates gun smuggling while the feds are watching? I suspend logic when watching most tv shows.

I agree you have to suspend logic with tv shows, but the bounty hunters showing up a few minutes after a phone call in a remote area of California is more that suspending logic, it's suspending the laws of nature. For that to be believable the bounty hunters would just somehow happen to be wandering around in the middle of nowhere drinking coffee across the street "hey just our luck we're in bumf**k and guess who's across the street in the clinic?"...

This show just keeps on delivering. Should really start to heat up next week.

yeah we thought the van might be a way of gathering intelligence.

The show is absolutely brutal. And still so good.

Clay's "Watch this" as Op takes off across the street...great stuff
