The DVICO TVIX PVR R-3300 Series Discussion

This week DVICO unveiled its new TVIX PVR R-3300 at the IFA in Berlin. Did anyone get a chance to check it out?

To my knowledge (subject to confirmation as documentation is slim at this point) the DVICO 3300 PVR takes the same tuners as previous models (T410 & T430).

I have not heard of DVICO having any plans to produce a QAM tuner for these units.

On the upside, at least you can feed a signal in from an outside source making it possible to record your QAM content via your existing QAM equipment. This is something you cannot do with any previous DVICO players.
