Science Channel will marathon the entire third season of Fringe across two days beginning Saturday, April 13 with the much-loved Season 3 premiere “Olivia,” culminating with the pivotal third-season finale, “The Day We Died,” on April 14 (re-airing April 15).

Pivotal, indeed.

I finally finished S3 a couple of days ago and I'm now on episode 5 of S4.

When "The Day We Died" originally aired, I must have missed that "pivotal" moment because I was always wondering: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
....how the safe zone between the two universes came to be and how Peter was erased from existance. Now I know.

I don't think you need to use spoiler tags in this thread anymore wink.gif

Anna Torv cast in Ryan Murphy's sexy HBO pilot
by James Hibberd on Jul 30, 2013 at 5:00PM @james_hibberd

Ryan Murphy has cast two talented, well-known actresses to lead his sexy HBO pilot.

Fox’s Fringe star Anna Torv and veteran performer Jennifer Jason Leigh (most recently seen on Showtime’s Weeds and ABC’s Revenge) have joined the cast of Open.

The pilot is described as “a modern, provocative exploration of human sexuality and relationships.” Anna Torv will play Windsor, “a yoga instructor in a long-term relationship with Holly (Jennifer Jason Leigh), but upon meeting Grace feels an instant connection.” Now Murphy just needs to cast Joshua Jackson and John Noble to bring the dreams of Fringe fan fiction to life!

The actresses join actors Scott Speedman and Wes Bentley, who were previously announced.

Open is from American Horror Story writer-producer Murphy and Dexter co-executive producer Lauren Gussis; it’s produced by Fox 21.

Having received an email notification of activity on this thread, I had to go watch a couple of episodes of Fringe off of Amazon Prime.

That's one of the good things about getting old. You forget enough about the outcome of the episodes that it's like watching it for the first time.

For anyone interested in the DVD package, it's here.

Thanks for the head's up!
It's a one day deal- $75 for the full five season Fringe BD set!

I'm tempted but by the time I get around to rewatching the entire run it will probably be even cheaper. I've got more box sets than I can watch now.

Ordered the blu ray set which is supposed to be at my house by Saturday. Really hope this holds up on repeated viewing.

I just blew through it on netflix. I think it's better as a binge watch type of show. I seem to remember during the series run there would be long stretches between episodes and I had to try to get back into it, but watching it all at once the series is great! Enjoy.

I think you'll really enjoy watching without interruptions, station bugs, other fox on-screen rubbish, etc...
I actually like fringe much better now that I have all five seasons ripped to my NAS and can watch a couple of episodes without breaks whenever I like.
Seasons 4 and 5 are much more serialized than I remember when I watching live.

Watched Almost Human tonight and it really felt like Fringe 2.0. Which is a good thing. If you were a fan of fringe check out AH. It is created by Fringe alumni too.

Did you spot any Observers lurking around? smile.gif

I liked Almost Human, and I'll say that if you're a Fringe fan you should also be watching Sleepy Hollow! (also by some Fringe alumni).

And the network execs just couldn't figure out the ratings drop. I mean one of .... only the most complex story arcs around.... geeee people will of course remember and come back if you make them wait... and wait.... and change air day.... and change air day... and wait some more.

Yeah, I agree. I think that's why 24 was so successful. They made sure there were not too many gaps between episodes.

I haven't watched the 2nd episode of Almost Human yet but I did like the pilot. As far as Sleepy Hollow, I watched the 1st few episodes but just couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll try again on VOD. Is it on Hulu?
