I want this solved and agree with other comments that the show give some credit to the abilities of the other detectives. I'd like to see good police work trump Jane now and then. A little doubt in Jane would be a good arc. Miss Cho's dry one liners and his toughness. He needs his own show. The Cho Show;)
Actually, the CSI, Partridge, is the most likely suspect. I thought it was Stiles for years, but they made that too obvious. Jane and Partridge have been at odds since the pilot. If Bruno really planned this from day one, Partridge is perfect. Maybe he is Dexter's unknown other brother.
I am disturbed that RJ knew that Jane had 7 suspects and knew all 7. That does border on the supernatural, but I have three possible explanations.
1. Jane planted this conclusion on his board for RJ to find. His room was broken into multiple times, hence the toothpick.
2. Jane goaded RJ into sending the list, then made his list to match it . He did that to scam Lisbon into helping him with a long con on RJ. That's why he didn't tell Lisbon who was on the list until he got RJ's list.
3. This is far-fetched, but maybe Jane somehow made the disk he showed Lisbon and it's not the one from RJ. Again, using Lisbon in a con.
As to your last comment, I agree. The show has become formulaic with Jane's "scam of the week." I like Cho, too. Somehow, he is hysterical.
