Well yes, i have tried that, it does not make any differense for TMT and the bitstreaming of HD-audio. While normal 7.1 works fine.
But the problem is that no bitstreaming of no coded signals work, neither in TMT nor outside TMT. Even if i try the example sounds in Windows Control panel or from Xonar HDAV center.
And the strange thing that the DTS-logo lights up at my amp but no sound is coming, and with all other formats (ex DD Live, DD 2.0 or any HD-format) dont give any sign of life on the amp, it says no audio.
and to be clear, my reciever works perfect bitstreamed from my PS3 Slim.

What are your TMT audio settings?
As no coded signals work i dont think the HD-formats is the problem in it self, i cant get Dolby or DTS from neither TMT nor WMP/WMC/control panels.
I think it is something outside of the TMT software causing this, if my understanding is right about this, every thing shoud bitstream to my reciever if "S/PDIF Pass-through Device" is set to standard in windows Controlpanel. (exept the HD-formats wich will require TMT3 to function)
In TMT3 I use HDMI as setting in the audio output, the software is
"Arcsoft Total Media Theater 3 (ASUS)v126.96.36.199" downloaded from Asus FTP.
and to clearify - hope I don't repeat my self to much
-music from spotify or WMP, normal TV works great bitstreamed as Stereo 192 kHz.
