It works!!! On TMT with BluRay Discs...

Now, with mkv and MPC-HC? Nothing has changed, no HD Bitstreamed audio...

I'm not sure but maybe TMT and mpc-hc don't support HD audio in an mkv container via hdav? Try demuxing the mkv to an avchd format and see what happens.

MPC-HC works. Last time I tried was with asaudiorenderer.dll from TMT5 .185.

I should have added bitstreaming? I can see lpcm. If so, first I've heard. Thanks

Yes, bitstreaming (MPC-HC). But like I said, up to TMT5 .185 asaudiorenderer.dll. Right now I don't have the HDAV1.3 installed to test with latest versions.

Nothing... all it's right setted (seems to...) but I get HD bitstreaming only with TMT and BD... .mkv and MPC-HC nothing, only normal DD and DTS

Can you please post screen captures of MPC-HC output and external filters window and of the active filters during playback (right-click on MPC-HC window and select "Filters")?

Of course System Default Audio Device is 2: Altoparlanti (Xonar HDAV 1.3 etc.)
Ok, that looks perfect. The problem is, now that I remember well (I don't have my HDAV1.3 installed right now), that you definitely require ffdshow audio decoder which must be configured according to my previous post in this thread.

Only use ffdshow audio decoder instead of LAV audio decoder and it should work now ...

Thank you! I try now and let you know

nothing...

EDIT: DTS-HD from an mkv... now try other things
EDIT2: If I get DTS-HD audio the video is blocket, if the video runs audio is blocket

?!?
If it still doesn't work try using MPC-HC native splitter (Gabest) instead of LAV Splitter.

hmm ... maybe using ffdshow video decoder instead will fix it. In fact this is the formula that used to work (mpc native splitter, ffdshow video + audio decoders & asaudiorenderer.dll).

Need some help from the Xonar gurus.

Looking at buying a Denon 5805 receiver for a good price but it won't pass through 1080p

Can I feed the receiver audio out of the zonar hdav and feed my projector separately out of my video card or use a hdmi splitter to go to both?

Or can I simply come out of the video card's hdmi to receiver and the hdmi to the projector?

Cheers.

If you're using Win 7 and the hdav comes with a short dvi-to-hdmi cable, connect your video card's dvi output to the hdav's hdmi input. Connect the hdav's hdmi output to your Denon. Connect the video card's hdmi output to your projector. Make the projector display 1 and extend your desktop to display 2 which would be the Denon.

I'm still on Vista, there's an advantage to 7?

how I do it with my Onkyo's is using a small 19" monitor as 2nd display out of the HTPC DVI & then run outta the HDAV into my Onkyo then on to my display if your Denon has 2 HDMI outputs the you could also have a PJ & display as well .

make sure that the Denon is the primary monitor in windows .
the real benefit from this set-up is being able to switch to other video & still see the desk top on the 19" as when I switch to another source on the Onkyo the 19" then changes to the primary desk top on the HTPC ,, IE; watching DirecTV & still have the HTPC desktop on the small 19" . then when I switch back to the PC selection on the Onkyo boom windows 7 then adjusts agin & brings back the desktop to the large display , with the 19" going to 2nd extended monitor
It's all very cool as when watching streaming Vid's on the main display I still can use the 19" to surf for more content . change my mind to watch TV agin boom automatically goes desktop to 19" as primary .

No, you'll need a standard HDAV1.3.
