how I do it with my Onkyo's is using a small 19" monitor as 2nd display out of the HTPC DVI & then run outta the HDAV into my Onkyo then on to my display if your Denon has 2 HDMI outputs the you could also have a PJ & display as well .
make sure that the Denon is the primary monitor in windows .
the real benefit from this set-up is being able to switch to other video & still see the desk top on the 19" as when I switch to another source on the Onkyo the 19" then changes to the primary desk top on the HTPC ,, IE; watching DirecTV & still have the HTPC desktop on the small 19" . then when I switch back to the PC selection on the Onkyo boom windows 7 then adjusts agin & brings back the desktop to the large display , with the 19" going to 2nd extended monitor
It's all very cool as when watching streaming Vid's on the main display I still can use the 19" to surf for more content . change my mind to watch TV agin boom automatically goes desktop to 19" as primary .
