If LCD projectors are not going to use a sealed light path, they should at the very least provide a system like the Sanyo PJ's with the hole and the bulb that allows you to blow air across the lcd panels and polarizers. Something that works. Otherwise, having to send the projector in for service just to eliminate dust blobs is annoying. When I had bought used projectors, I had no problem opening them up and cleaning them of dust blobs, because, well, I could, it didn't affect the warranty because I had no warranty, and I was a pioneer with the rest of us, and if that's what I had to do, I did it. It worked, but now, when I buy a new projector, I cannot open it up. I don't want to do that anymore anyways.
