Hello,
I need some help with my new AV "home theater system"
I purchased a Yamaha RX-V463 receiver
Klipsch quintet 3 speakers with a Klipsch 12 sub 5.1 speaker setup
A Sony Playstation 3 80gb
and a Philips 42" LCD
When im watching a movie the sound and picture cuts out randomly. When im watching cable tv sometimes just the sound cuts out.
Now when this happens the speaker lights on the receiver flash off when their is no sound and back on when its back.
This is connected all via HDMI cables .
I have gotten a new receiver from bestbuy thinking that was the problem, but nothing has changed.
Now here is the key to I hope is a solution, but hopefully a clue as to why it does what it does.
If I turn off the TV everything is fine, no cutting out.. sound is great steady, but no video.
I have tryed 3 different HDMI cables, different settings on the PS3, TV, and receiver.
Im at a loss and just want this to work. Please help
