Samsung PN50A550 v. A650 v. A760

I'm trying to figure out the differences between these three models in terms of picture quality and video processing performance. I know the 7 series model has some superfluous features like Internet connectivity, but does it have a better picture than the 5 or 6 series models?

The compare feature on the Samsung website isn't helpful (can't remember when, if ever, it was) so they all appear alike. I know the 7 series is brand new, but models from the same product year typically share the same parts.

What differences have you found?

If any calibrators have worked with these sets, please chime in since you'll likely have gained some in-depth knowledge.

Thanks, guys.

From what I've seen in my store the 760 models look amazing. Much better than what I've seen out of the 550 and 650.

Were you able to directly compare the three? Have you owned the 550 or 650?

Better in what way, and were all set up equally?

I'm concerned about the differences in screen types (matter versus glossy) as well as processing ability. I noticed the 550 is listed as having the DNIe+ engine while the 650 and 760 have the DNIe Pro.

Most pro calibrators would tell you to turn off enhancements like either one.

No, I realize you should turn off a lot of the edge enhancement and DNR tools.

DNIe is the name of Samsung's video processor (think Bravia Engine in Sony TVs), but also the name of their DNIe function (which makes my eyes bleed).
