Are the Outlaw 7900 & ATI 3000 the same amp?

I was told that ATI makes the Outlaw amps, I am trying to choose between the 2, can someone shed some light on this, thanks

The specs are very similar. There may be some differences but I'm not sure what. The ATI amp is lighter for some reason, but it seems to have a slightly better S/N ratio. I was wondering the same thing, maybe someone else can chime in.

From what I have read ATI manufactures both amps in its So. Cal. facility. I don't know for a fact, but I am guessing Outlaw provided ATI with the specs or design tweaks it wanted and ATI built it to spec. Performance wise, the ATI and Outlaw look very close and I would bet a dollar to a dime that they are more similar than different, but they do not appear to be identical. I'd take either one of them and if and when I ever need external power, I am going to grab which ever one of these I can find at the best price.

Yes..
They are the same basic product, ATI builds amplifiers for many USA audio component brands..
AT has multiple basic amplifier platforms and will customize the front and rear panels for the buying brand. ATI builds a solid product and actually owned by the original engineer/founder of SAE and been in business for many years..

Just my $0.02...

It is my understanding that ATI builds the 200 and 300 wpc Outlaws and believe they will be very similar in performance to the 2000 and 3000 series ATIs. ATI also builds some higher end makes as mentioned so that speaks to their capabilities. With ATI you can choose whatever number of channels you want, from 2 to 7 - which is way cool.

They do not, from what I understand, build the 125 wpc offerings from Outlaw. Does anyone know who builds the lower power versions?
