Greetings,

Here are the current Blu-ray Disc releases announced for October from the studios that I cover. I expect to receive these for review and others may be added to the list.

Will The Strangers be on your list?

And I thought Casino Royale was already on Blu-ray...

Ralph, Great reviews, I enjoy your attention to detail. Had any time for Pale Rider BD? It is one of my favorite Westerns and had some excellent landscape scenes.

I'm thrilled about Young Frankenstein. I would also be thrilled about Carrie, but MGM/Fox gave it a minimalist effort to be sold at their usually high price.

Greetings,

I can't say for sure on The Strangers. It is a Universal Studios release and I am not currently covering their BD releases. I reached out for them again this past week so we will see.

Your right about Casino Royale however Sony is releasing a Collector's Edition with new bonus supplements etc.

Chris,

I have not gotten Pale Rider but perhaps one day soon. I cover New Release Blu-ray Discs from Warner/New Line and have not been covering their Catalog title releases. I have recently requested to cover those as well so we will see what happens this month.

It's going to be another busy month !

As Ralph said, he doesn't cover Universal releases just yet (and Hulk is from Universal).

Hi Ralph,

Not sure if you'll be covering this release but 'Interview with the Vampire' is out this month also.

Hey Ralph, I was wondering if you had gotten The Ray Harryhausen yet and if you re going to post a review soon 9 I realize it has 4 films in it). Or if you could at least comment on the screencaps in the dvdbeaver review.

I thought that it lacked a lot of detail (except the last 2 shots), and wasn t sure if that was because of optical effects or a poor transfer (which is surprising since 20 million miles to earth looked phenomenal). Thanks

Busy time, Poltergeist, Hellboy 2, Looney Tunes V6, Dark Knight, Hancock, Jones, Wall-E. Must be heck figuring out when to sit down to watch the TR screen. It's a tough job but someone has to do it.

The 5308 and svs pb13, great choice!

Greetings,

I was just informed that the 6 Bond Blu-rays won't be here until Thurdsay. I will do the best I can to get them done prior to street date.
