Ack! Please help me with my new blown Chiro Amp!

Any help would be much appreciated!

I recently picked up a used Chiro c-300 amp and plugged it up. The first two channels had distorted audio and the 3rd channel sounded perfect. After checking the fuses, it was obvious that the first two channels had blown fuses and I replaced them with the recommended AGC 10amp fast-blow. However, when I turned the unit back on it only turned on for a second and now will not power up. I am going to look into replacing the fuses on the power but wanted to know if there was a logical explanation as to why this occurred Also, if I was to get this amp working again do you think it will be safe to run day to day? not sure how frequent fuses blow in these things and if a blown fuse in the future could kill my speakers.

I replaced the fuses and everything works fine for abit put then either the power fuse or one of the others blows out. I saw that it needs 110v and I am unsure if the source is over that. Does anyone know if I need a converter or something for this or what the problem could be?

I hate to tell you this but if there is no short form you speaker wires (as in wires touching each other) it sounds like that amp you just picked up has problems and needs to be checked out at a service center. I guess you could try some different speakers that you know work and see if it works but I don't think it's going to make a difference.

Something is likely hosed. Possibly a bad power transistor? I don't know, I am not an engineer. Not returnable I guess?
