FWIW, I picked up the BD of I Saw The Devil at Best Buy for 10 bucks yesterday.
I think you'll like it. A couple of the other guys posted that it was a great movie and they ain't lying. You'll be pulled in within the first 20-30 minutes. "No-eject guarantee".

I'll try to get to it tonite or in the next couple of days.
Not exactly horror but "Rites of Passage" is quite a wild film with Wes Bentley and Christian Slater. The drug connection and visions add the horror element as well as both Bentley and Slater playing very wacked out roles.
hahaha...you guys crack me up.
Seriously though I don't see how anyone could not like this movie at least just a little bit...it was one of the best I saw last year.
What a bunch of crap. I hope the bluray will have everything on it.
They should have shown it at Sundance, it would have been called "art" or some new brand of intellectual hippie starbucks crap and would have had an R slapped on it for us to enjoy unmolested.
Anyone seen The Revenant?
Horror comedy, Starts off strong, gets a little week but finishes strong. Stars David Anders ( Dr. Frankenstien from Once upon a time).

36- The Revenant. Oddly good buddy/vigilante movie about ghouls or revenant as opposed to zombies. Sold as a dark comedy though I only laughed a few times. I remained entertained by the premise and it does have very solid moments nearing brilliance. It was slow to start but really found itself mid way. Quite poignant in later scenes but the very end comes out of nowhere and it probably could have wrapped about five minutes sooner. With the few great scenes and the tug at the heart it did manage I would recommend it to those who need an undead film that is above the Z grade zombie stuff in the market now. It should pair up with Deadheads rather nicely for a double feature.

Well guess my search missed that. Deadheads added to my que!
Thanks
Framed up my Critters screen print this past weekend. Goal is to have my office walls covered by October 2013. I'm @ almost 70% now.
My wife was talking me with in there the other day and said "didn't all the serial killers have a bunch of stuff plastered all over the walls?" Uh not sure but at least it's not hundreds of those little tree air fresheners hanging from the ceiling.

LOL.
Tonite I watched Chernobyl Diaries.
I thought it was very well done, good scares, and a pretty good setup.
4 out of 5 radioactive mutants/zombies.

Very nice! I'd love to have a dedicated HT that is all done up for horror films, you know like those crazy ones they post from CE pro, yeah, good to have dreams.

The AV of the BD is excellent.
I kept bumping this down m NF queue because it seemed to have gotten poor reviews but I'll have to give it a go, thanks!

Yeah, the reviews haven't been too hot.
Maybe they were expecting more blood and guts.
Although there is some in the movie, most of the scares don't rely on it.
The movie starts slow with some character development, but hang in there.
Nicely edited to produce old-fashioned tension, dread, and the unexpected.
The wife got up the courage to watch it with me (maybe it was the promise of "zombies").
The first big scream caused her to spill her coffee nudge and to swear out loud.
I had to look away and think about baseball.......

That would be so cool! I'm sure you could come up with something awesome with your set & makeup skills.
I'll try to get to it tonite or in the next couple of days.
Holy Moly is the title appropriate!
Talk about a draining movie.....
This film is NOT for girly-men.
Excellent acting, plotting, and directing.
The great Min-sik Choi (from Oldboy) re-unites with his cutting implements for more fun and games.
IMO, he is the scariest dude in movies today....even topping Javier Bardem's Anton from NCFOM.
The Korean Vengeance Trilogy has now become the Korean Vengeance Quadrilogy.

Oink, what movie/movies are you referring to here? Thanks.
