I hope so.
TB is utter crap.
Lousy directing and worse acting....were professional actors REALLY used here?
The only episode worth watching was the one with ol' Tom Savini...
I liked the first on with the Toad Mother. Very Lovecraftian. Once with Tom I found strange and odd but it was better then the others.

What killed it for me was the very less than convincing acting.
The directing was also bad.
There is a scene early on where the young couple is driving up into the mountains and are arguing about where and what they should be doing....this is a crucial scene because it seals their destinies.
Instead of focusing the camera on the the back and forth between the characters in the car, it shows a panoramic view of the mountains.
Gee, thanx Mr. Director for not involving the audience in the story and showing us your admiration of the view.
It's something a 16 year old kid would do with a camcorder.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Theater Bizarre looked insane, so I was on the fence. After reading that some of you really enjoyed it, it's now on my to do list (along with Girls hate Boys). I know I mention The Pact on my first post, but if you all haven't seen it, I recommend checking it out. I don't want to over hype it, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

Have you seen the two animation films on it? Never played the game but I seem to remember the Game picks up right as the movie ends.
Also Do you guys watch Horror Animation or does it fly under your radar?
I have seen the first Dead Space (I think Down Fall) but I haven't seen any other one, but I do like animation. But the game is unreal, probably the best (imho) survivor/horror game out there.
If watched "Grave Encounters 2" last night. If you are into "horror movies for millennials" you might enjoy it. I kinda like the genre as long as the story still has a good arc.
Knowing oink I'll bet a glass of hot fat he likes The Bay better
Just like you didn't know Anakin, I guess you don't know me neither...
The Bay = le meh
What I really want to know after watching this movie is...what the hell has happened to Barry Levinson?
If you look at his filmography, it becomes obvious the quality of his work has been on a downward slope for a very long time.
I dunno....maybe he should get a catSCAN of his noodle to check for tumors...

I guess I'll have to chop you up and leave you burning on the lava banks of Mustafar.
The question is only half answered though, what was your opinion of Theatre Bizarre?

Here's how I reviewed The Theater Bizarre last fall.

Every once in a while, someone puts together a horror anthology. As is most often the case, the result is a mixed bag, with some stories being stronger than others. That is certainly the case here, but there are no real home runs in The Theater Bizarre. If any of these stories was really great, they probably would have gotten a full-length treatment. But I will say that there was something of interest in each of the tales. The wraparound story involves a woman watching a Grand Guignol style play in a decaying theater, with the understanding that she represents us, the viewers of the movie as well. There's a nasty Lovecraftian tale of a man seduced by a frog-witch, a story of a paranoid lover, the sexual dream life of a wife beating cheater (directed with dark humor by Tom Savini). A decent setup of a little girl's first experience with death goes nowhere but looks and sounds very good--this is a good director who just needed a stronger story. Perhaps the strongest two tales are saved for last: a woman who has found a way to record and replay the scenes that that flash before your eyes just before death (lots of needles-in-the-eye scenes!), and a weird yet stylish story about a man swept up in an affair with a woman who has a sweets fetish. The Theater Bizarre is in no danger of becoming a classic, but it mostly succeeds in holding our interest, and as far as anthologies go, you could certainly do worse.
Anything new in horror coming to theaters this weekend? I passed on Last Exorcism part 2, is it worthwhile?
I think we are all in agreement about the toad woman story but how bout the rest?

No new horror that I've heard of. I have Girls Against Boys coming today and I'm pretty sure we are going to see Dead Man Down this weekend which I think looks awesome.
I gotta say though this new Tomb Raider game really has the hooks in me. You can tell the talent behind this has some appreciation for horror. I've seen lots of things so far that I would say were influenced by The Descent and Jeepers Creepers. Sorry for the crappy phone pics as they do it no justice but this room was totally gruesome and to get out she was crawling through this small tunnel that had legs, arms, heads, and all kinds of body parts to crawl over and tumbling in on her. I don't play many games but I'm loving this.
That response would apply to her ruining the great Lara or just her as herself, one is just as bad as the other. She's a good example of an attractive woman who's completely ruined (for guys like me) because she is such a trashy poobag

Amen! A little off-her-rocker for my taste. And after meeting the diminutive Billy Bob Thorton (talk about a Napolean complex), I can only fathom the attraction between them.
