I've been viewing with DLP PJs since July 2003. I currently use the Optoma HD70. We've had it for a couple of years and love it. Before that I had an Infocus X1. However - I want better blacks and better detail in the dark areas of the projected image.
I am using a pulldown white screen and may change to a better gray one someday. Our room is 100% light controllable.
I hear about the Optoma HD65 and the Planer PD7060.
Thanks for any input.

- Is there a DLP (or even LCD) PJ that can do a really good job with blacks?
- Or is the idea of projecting black always going to be dark gray?
- Must I consider CRT PJs as the only way to do large screen well-projected blacks?
Thanks for any input.
