Audio decoding question for bh200

so does the bh200 fully decode dd plus, truhd, dtshd AND dtsma internally??? I'm confused and need a straight answer ( assuming the software is up to date). I have an hdmi 1.1 reciever so I need it all decided internally and I don't really care if it bitstreams. Can someone tell me?

For an HDMI connection, the BH200:
- "Fully" decodes: DD+ and TrueHD
- Decodes the "core" of DTS-HD (HR and MA).

- Bitstreams all of the above (though that's not relevant for you).

Hope that helps.

will it ever decode, i thought it was harder for it to bitstream than decode???

Other way around actually. Bitstreaming involves taking the audio track off the disc and streaming it out, bit for bit (processing the stream is left for whatever is connected by HDMI). Consequently, bitstreaming takes less "work" than decoding.

Only LG knows if they'll ever decode DTS-HD. Obviously it would be a welcome addition, but I wouldn't count on it. BTW, decoding DTS-HD is a more intensive process than decoding Dolby TrueHD (as has been discussed in other threads).
