Adjusting Volume with Coupon Boxes

Here are two suggested procedures:

(1) - Set the converter box to 100 and leave it there.
- Use the television remote to control the volume.

(2) - Set the converter to 90.
- Adjust television volume to a comfortable level, and then put the remote away.
- Use the converter box remote to adjust volume up-and down.

Well, yes, Troy.  But I don't see a question in there nor anything else to spur discussion.  Are we to infer that you're asking for opinions about which is preferable?  If so, it depends entirely on which remote the viewer wants to use to adjust the volume while watching.

If you read the other threads, there have been many, many questions about how to adjust the volume. This thread serves to answer those questions in one convenient spot.

Yes, I have, and yes, there are.

You didn't say that in post #1, but you've said it now in post #3.  OK.

Since my guess was right, then I've no changes to make to my response in post #2.
