Breaking Bad on AMCHD - Page 7

It seems to me Walt was really gambling that Hank would split when faced with the news, though maybe Hank's love for the sister was common knowledge around the family.

At any rate they should be able to trace the phone number the lawyer and his secretary were using... though I suppose they could have taken it out under some alias, and perhaps once the phone was destroyed the GPS data would no longer be accessible.

Great episode, however. It' s interesting how Breaking Bad's character development stuff (the chatting in the lab, Skyler with her lawyer, Walt and son, etc etc) is so much more compelling than similar stuff in, say, Caprica or The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

You didn't watch the Wire? Disposable cell phones and throwaway SIM cards (remember Stringer had a bag of them!) are just a couple of ways shady people use cell phones and avoid getting caught. I doubt Saul would have called a DEA agent if there was any chance of getting caught.

You didn't watch the Wire?

I do eagerly search for a cheap enough complete set, though it continues to be a bit too pricey for me. Didn't have that premium channel.

I actually seem to remember Saul giving some sort of cell phone lecture in an earlier show.

Another excellent episode, I swear that each one is better than the last and they started the season on top. This is easily some of the best screenwriting I've seen.

Kind of sad to see the old RV meet it's end.

I bought a bag of Funions today. Not impressed. I guess you have to be high to enjoy them.

It's going to be coming down so hard on Hank he'll be looking for a hat.

It's interesting how many different directions they can take the theme of "consequences" for Walt's choices. Virtually every character is being effected, and more.

Yeah, this show has really got things nailed down even though it seems random at times. Very refreshing show and title.

Kinda wondering if Hank get a heart attack before he gets nailed. lol

I love how they keep ratcheting up the tension while still keeping it believable.
it is un-f'n deniable that this is the greatest show ever made.

it was revealed they are cousins. maybe not necessarily of one another, but they are cousins of tuco. even on imdb, their characters are listed as 'cousin 1' and cousin 2'. on amc's website on the episode guides, they are referred to as the Cousins.
maybe you should do your own homework before you question something.

LOL poor Hank. He stirred up a hornets nest when he made the call to Walt about the RV!

Still a great show...all the goofy bickering on here aside...
Maybe they are kissing cousins? They do seem to spend a lot of time together.
Lucky for the "cousins" they are here in Albuquerque. If this show was set in Prescott, AZ, for example...

(this post is meant to make you laugh; don't get upset by it)

Heh, that's really the only valid argument I've heard for the law!

I think Breaking Bad deserves a ton of credit for its writers' choice to go into the real reason Walt started making meth.

There's a lot of room to chicken out and keep Walt sympathetic. I like that they've chosen to dive into the Fight Club thesis instead of just wimping out and say, "Well, cancer, ya know. Desperate times, desperate measures."

There's something very cool about a TV show going into the question of the loss of manhood in the 21st Century. It's interesting see this hashed out as a neo-western, too.

Out F'ing Standing!!!! No doubt this THE BEST SHOW on TV, period.

Nobody's Safe Anymore on "Breaking Bad"................Nobody.
Dude...that was a serious head-shot.

I don't know if I have ever seen as riveting an episode of any TV series as tonight's.

The director got performances from Jessee and Hank that I had no idea they had in them.

Outstanding, just outstanding
