Projector Central review of the new 1080p projector from Sanyo, the Z700.

I think this is the first Sanyo pj with this feature and at a nice price for 1080p.

The Z3000 also does vertical stretch, but costs much more than the Z700
I think, that this is a very interesting projector, for those, who want to step into 1080p without spending lots of dollars.

I'm glad to hear that Sanyo finally implemented the vertical stretch mode für CIH, so we don't need an external scaler or player for diong this job

But i worried about the brightness and the organic panels of this projector. Will it have enough light power for a screen above 8 feet width?

I was happy to see a new lcd pj with vertical stretch. Not knowing that I had one installed in my HT. That was an accidental discovery.

My Z4 does this vertical stretch with 1080p using the zoom function as well.
