The Bonnie Hunt Show in HD?

Looking at the clips on the shows website they look 16:9.
Is the show taped in HD?

I wonder if the the reason show is not being broadcast in HD on WNBC-DT is because of the same issue The Ellen Show has with WB Studios distribution?

I was told by someone who works at a station that carries this show that is being made in available in 16x9 SD, but not HD.

whats the spread on this being canceled?

It looks widescreen SD to me, and I have no doubt this show will be cancelled, because frankly she makes a lousy talk show host.

Hum well we don't get Bonnie Hunt in 16:9 SD or Ellen in HD yet on WNBC-DT.

Watching this show is like watching paint dry. She's almost as bad a talk show host as Chevy Chase (if such a thing is possible).

I don't know what it is, but I've been a Bonnie fan for years. I always loved her on Letterman and in movies. So I have been dvr'ing her daytime show since it started on NBC OTA. It has been 4x3 since it started. Well, today I turn it on and it's 16x9... So all this time my local NBC has been clueless???

EDIT: Well, I guess they did it on accident or something because it's back to 4x3

Last time I checked, it was 4x3 on WEWS in Cleveland. Which is odd, since this channel shows every syndicated HD show they carry in HDTV.

First time watching today and it is 16:9, but PQ is not exactly stellar. Also, most of the accompanying commercials are s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d to fill the screen; what gives?

The commercials are probably stretched because the show is presented in squeezed 16:9. I've seen it on WEWS once or twice where it was 4:3, but the people look tall and skinny. Stretching it corrects the squeezed widescreen but the 4:3 commercials get the TNT effect.
