What are the two top things you like about your Samsung?
What model do you have?
Do you regret your purchase? If so, why?
Would you switch to another manufactuer?

Here are my answers:

A.
1. Colors
2. Screen size

B. PN50A450

C. NOPE!

D. NOPE!

1 - I was amazed at the natural colors and details. It truly gives a lifelike 3D image.

2 - 42" HP-S4273

3 - Have a zero regrets amount the purchase of this plasma.

4 - Well I never say never but Samsung will be my first choice of brands. I like the comprehensive approach they taken in designing their TVs.

1. color accuracy and overall picture quality
2. user adjustments

I have a Panasonic TH42PX80U and I wouldn't trade my Samsung for a 50" Panasonic....I don't think.
They are both really good displays.

Here are my answers:
Top Two:
Picture/Color
Value
Model:
PN58A650
Regret:
AAAAAHAHAHAHHA.....Never. I was going for a 50" Kuro (had a 57" HDCRT Hitachi) and no it doesn't beat a Kuro. But one HELL of a 58" Plasma for one HELL of a price. It's in every way on par with the large Pannys but at a better price point bar none. Every person I have had over is very impressed and so am I.
Switch:
If I had money to bleed on such things as TV sure I would buy the best who wouldn't? But I LOVE my Sammy!

Answer 1. Out of the box picture quality. PC connectivity. Pretty decently styled.

2. PN50A450 in an apparently great BB combo deal. Didn't work out though.

3. Yes. Definitely regretting the purchase. Seems I got a lemon. Even though it still has a nice, sharp, clear picture, seems every other complaint I've read about this particular set, and some Samsungs in general, it has it:

Complaints:

a.The final straw is the "green haze" that recently began showing up. Pink flesh tones have a very faint greenish tinge, that so far has been hard to adjust out.

b. Easily susceptible to burn in-image retention.

c. Awful sounding, rattly, speaker/cabinet implementation.

4. Definitely calling BB to come pick up and refund the purchase in the morning. If I get another plasma, it almost certainly will be a Panasonic.

Edit: Ok. BB coming Mon to pick up for refund. Sayonara Samasung pn50a450.

I have a Sammy (PN50A450) and I don't even have one issue that you've listed above. In fact, I cant even find anything wrong with it. Does this mean all Sammy's are lemons? I've read posts where people purchase a Panasonic and it turned out to be a lemon for them as well. Does it mean all Panasonics are lemons?

Looks like you just picked the wrong straw, again what you chose to purchase is ultimately your decision.

Good Luck!

1. Picture quality in 1080p (Blu-ray sourced) is outstanding. SDTV is tolerable.

2. FP-T6374.

3. No problems. No regrets.

4. So far, the Samsung has exceeded my expectations. I would buy from them again. I'm always open to other brands, but the Samsung has given me the most bang for the (considerable) buck.
