grab any 1920x1080 sized pictures - the ones you like of course and load them up on CD, DVD or thumb drive for playback on your large screen. very good stuff. and impresses others as well.

This sounds like a fun thing to have on in the background while getting ready to watch the football games on the weekend. Is there any programs any of you know out there that would incorporate these images onto a disk and then let you add music in the background of the pictures. I know how to burn the images onto a disk with Imageburn or Nero, but how do you add music to it, that would play automatically when inserted. I have HD-DVD, PS3, and a DVD burner to use. Would like to burn a CD or DVD and play on one of the players with music also. Any ideas?

Yes. If you use a PC to compile, Microsoft has a free proggy call PhotoStory3
that does EXACTLY that. Makes a panning video slideshow with your pics and music. And it is ALMOST one click, idiot proof usage too. Don't know if the end result is high res or not, though.

BUT, I have not yet transferred it's output from WMV [or whatever] to DVD. It SHOULD work... or maybe the PS3 can play it directly? I plan to try this soon

DOH! It looks like PhotoStory only does 1024x768 4:3 max resolution. It could still look good. My Pioneer 6020 will play pics in a slide show with networked music from a folder, so I think I'll go that route. But the WMV would be transferred to a DVD or played back from a computer

That is EXACTLY what I want to do also! Let me know if you find anything. Using images.google, I find some good ones, but they are not cropped to "HD" size. They still work and are pretty nice

Interfacelift is THE ONLY PLACE TO GET SO MANY GREAT HIGH RESOLUTION WALLPAPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know i sound like the commercial for them but its true. I use the wallpapers for screensavers and for wallpaper for my PS3. It's truly amazing all the photos they have. Everytime I get on there I'm on the page for hours picking all sorts of different photos

Please tell me your joking! Resolutions are mostly stuck at whatever they have which is usually 1 resolution. Plus its limited. Did you even look at interfacelift.com is incredible, it goes on and on. your page is good for abstract art and a few things but does not come close to hi res wallpaper sources like interfacelift.
