your views on monitors with 2 millisecond response time?

of all the lcd's ive seen, i notice extreme blur. i bought a 2ms samsung lcd a few months ago hoping it would spell the end of substantial blur. no matter what RTA method i use, i still see blur. but most opinions i see online wether someone is using a 5, 8 or 12ms monitor, they don't notice any blur. i think my eyes are just average and not like an eagle so does it just take a videophile to notice, or what's going on ? thought i'd get some opinions from people really into video tech to see if you guys notice blur on "fast" lcd's too, hopefully it's not just me. i may have to wait and get an lcd with 0ms response time.

I don't think there's such thing as 0ms response time. In fact, some companies who state that it's 2ms, in reality, it's probably 5+ms. Companies measure the response times differently, so you cant really compare.

Correct me if I'm wrong

I've always seen blur until 2006. Most good LCD TVs don't have blur, and for comparison using Blu Ray as a pq source.

Since blur can be due to signal degradation, a simple way to eliminate it is use HDMI.
