Question about my 5080

Everytime I try to set the clock it says the interactive program guide has already set the clock. I don't have the TVGOS system on because it had problems with shutting off by itself. I only use the clock for OTA. It does get the program name from the OTA antenna. It's of no use when the clock is 8 hours off.

have you completely disabled the guide?

I think so. I set the zip code to all zeros because I was having a problem with it shutting off by itself. I got a firmware upgrade from Pioneer and it took care of that problem. Maybe I need to go ahead and setup with my zip code again?

try the zip= all zeros again, say no to cable, don;t remind me etc., if that does not work, do master reset to bring the tv to its original state (i.e., before you ever set up the guide ). this is a simple procedure- pio had me do it for a cablecard problem but unfortunately i did not write the steps. however, i have seen it in another thread (i think in the "blue light flashing...." thread). search through it- i'll do the same, it will handy for the future. if you don;t find it call pio they will walk you through it
