For those of you that still play but don't fully understand how the CE and specializations work, I found this very detailed post on some other forums..

Okay, now that we've played post-DLC, we have an understanding of the CE points awarded in this game.

If you don't know what this means, let me try to explain. In your "Armory", you can now pick a "Specialization", both a Primary weapon type and a Secondary weapon type. CHOOSE WISELY!!!! If you change either of your specializations, you will lose all your CE points!!! **The one exception** is if you swap your primary and secondary specializations, you will only lose half of your CE points.

CE points are used to unlock attachments, special weapons, and enhanced stats for your specialization. Keep reading!

Once you have your Primary and Secondary Specializations chosen, you will gain CE points by using those type of weapons. For every kill you get with your specialization, you will earn 2 CE points. For every assist, you will earn 1 CE point. You only gain CE points in RANKED rooms. At the end of the match, you will see how many CE points you have earned by looking in the upper-right corner of the screen, to the right of the MVP of the match.

CE points earned for your primary specialization does not apply toward your secondary, and vice versa. Meaning, if you earn all your primary points first, you will need to use your secondary weapon type to get CE points to unlock things for that weapon type.

As you gain points, you can see how many points you have earned *total* by looking under Statistics under "Records". This doesn't give you a breakdown of CE points awarded between Primary and Secondary, it only gives you a grand total. You can see your progress of unlocking things by going into Armory and looking at Specializations. As you gain CE points, an orange bar will fill up showing how far along you are.

Once you reach Gold/Silver Star, you will not collect any more CE points for that weapon type.

YOU CANNOT HAVE MORE THAN 1 UNLOCKABLE WEAPON AT A TIME!!! If you change your Primary after you unlock a weapon, you will lose CE points, as well as attachments, enhancements, and special weapon.

I'd like to keep this thread updated with the points breakdown for the milestones for both Primary and Secondary of each weapon.

I'll start, since I know what I have...
