Wow those are large and in charge! I think you should check the carpet below the left main, I believe it wet itself!

Mains are up next. I'm going to build some Econowave SR Compacts I think. Room setup is temporary as I plan to convert a pretty good size storage room into a dedicated ht room after my other projects are finished

Since I always enjoy seeing other people's setups, here's mine:

For the record, that's a 58" plasma on the wall. Everything else is so big, it looks like a 32".

The subs are a pair of DIY 18" TC Sounds LMS Ultras in 24" cubes powered by a pair of Behringer EP4000 amps.

I have the amps up in the floor joists just below my listening room. I didn't have room for the amps and with the cooling fans so loud, it's better that they are down in the basement.

My subwoofer progression has been a SVS 20-39PC+ from when they first came out. Then a SVS PB13-Ultra, a Submersive HP, and I even tested dual Submersive HP's. The dual LMS Ultras are by far the best subs I've ever heard. They work perfectly with my room.

My setup is primarily a 2-channel audio setup that is home theater capable.

Very nice, TJHUB. I like the acoustic panel arrangement as well.

Thanks. Most people don't seem to like the acoustic panels.

I have a similar arrangement on the rear wall.

Nice job TJ. Those subs definitely make the TV look small.

I like what you did with the amps. That's a great idea.
Very nice setup! Do you leave the behringers on all the time?

I really need to do the same with my QSC 5050 RMX, and hook up a DIY 12V trigger to it.

Dual Rythmik F15SE arrived earlier today. Nice to have some decent subs again.

Thanks. Part of me wanted to do the quiet fan mod to the amps and figure out how to mount them to the rear of the subwoofer enclosures, but I went with the basement idea instead. I think it'll be just fine this way.

I just set the amps up yesterday. Right now I am leaving them on 24/7, but that will be changing this weekend. A friend of mine is selling me his Niles AC-3 to allow me to trigger the amps with 12v. The problem is that I don't have any way to trigger the AC-3. My short term plan is to use a switched wall outlet with a 12v wall wart plugged into it. My future plan is to use a Niles MSU250 that has an IR 12v trigger on it. I just wish it wouldn't cost $250.00.

Thanks for the reply, i was wondering if you had a cheap solution worked out to power them on/off.

Hi to all,

Here's a picture of "MY" sub. It's a Dali Concept sub, completely sealed front firing with a 12" driver and an output power of 160 Watts. I decided on this model coz as you can see on the picture it nicely fits into the cabinet, moreover with this setup no WAF issues came up, ever! Thanks for looking at the attached photo!

I can't tell what I'm looking at there. What kind of subs and speakers (more interested in the sub, though)? For reference, how big is the tv?
Too many awesome setups to comment on, so I'll go with one -

TJHUB, I really like those acoustic panels and you're right about your subs making your 58" (!!!) display look like a 32". Beautiful speakers as well.

I just got a subwoofer yesterday...Outlaw Audio LFM-1 EX:

His subs are DIY - dual opposed 15" AE speaker drivers each... like the submersive... speakers are Paradigm Sig S2's & C3. His Subwoofer build is linked in his post, kinda hard to miss that... http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1233892

Not sure on screen, I would suggest 50"

The TV is a 58" Samsung Plasma. Though, looking at it in the picture there, I really need a bigger TV. Just haven't seen any that I llike enough to replace the Sammy with since the departure of the Elites.

... the DIY subs are similar in size to the Epik Empire (18" W x 24"D x 22" H).
