This is my Hsu VTF-15h, there are many like it but this one is mine:

Basement by Kadath, on Flickr

Thinking about moving it up to the front wall of the theater tho, viewable top left of this image. I have a prewire for the sub up there already, but it seemed to fit well in the spot where it first landed during setup and test.

Take at least one of those plugs out.

So which of them has more bass?
Well, since the caps blew on the Sunfire and the amp doesn't work... wink.gif

Here's the true story though. The Sunfire was a pretty kickin' sub. BUT, it's very "one note" sounding. The Outlaw opened my eyes to how a sub SHOULD sound.

I'm in Dallas, my brother is in Houston. He just got his LFM-1EX for his house and he is saying the same thing... " I never knew... " smile.gif

I've been powering the Sunfire with an older Rotel amp I have for my bedroom system, but at 100wpc the Rotel just isn't up to the task. I've been thinking about getting a big Behringer amp and using it in my garage. No, I'm not kidding. smile.gif

Hum easily fixed by either cutting off the neutral prong or by using a neutral delete plug. Very common in the pro field. My Outlaw sub does not have a neutral prong.

You mean the ground pin. You have to have a neutral.

Here is a pic of my Rythmik FV15HP being used as a speaker stand for my eD[c]12 and my front soundstage. This is just in a spare bedroom for now until I get my basement refinished.
