My wife wants a new "big" tv so who am i to say no
. We have directv and for a few reasons(mostly copyright) don't want to get the hd package, so i will be doing 95% of viewing in SD. I don't want to hang it on the wall and plasmas use way too much electricity for my taste, so that leaves me with lcd and dlp. I watch a lot of sports and fights and i have read lcd's are prone to blurriness, so i thought dlp's would be my best bet. I don't want to replace anything regularly(like bulbs) so looks like the led dlp's are the way to go. From what i've read about the Sammy HL-61A750 it sounds like it's a great tv with very few issues, but i'm concerned about how it looks in SD. Can anyone give some first had experience? How will this look with my directv?
I am also interesterd in any other tips or info you can give me about this purchase. I am not set on the sammy, so feel free to recomend anything else. Thanks for any help, it is greatly apreciated
