EchoStar TR-40 recording

Thread Starter
I have an Insignia standard cecb. The longest it stays on is 4 hrs., therefore not allowing me to record something after it turns off. Will the TR-40 allow me to record something after it has turned itself off when I'm at work? Or is there something I can do to use my Insignia for timer recording? I don't want to start panicking yet!

On all these CECBs, you should be able to find an "Inactivity Timer" that by default is 4 hours. You should be able to disable this. Start looking in your manual / menues.
