Low cost receiver with hdmi in and toslink out?

I'm looking for a fairly low cost receiver that has an HDMI input and a toslink output that has the digital audio 5.1 signal from the HDMI signal. Can anyone recommend a receiver with this capability?

None I know of. Unless you want to spend thousands.

Curious request. What would you run a Toslink from a receiver out to? Usually you run them into a receiver.

I'm looking for a Toslink output to connect to my Pioneer SE-DIR800C wireless headphones.

Toslink has no copy protection. HDMI with HDCP mandates copy protection. So, no receiver will convert HDMI audio (with HDCP) to toslink.

but, doesn't this Octava switcher do the HDMI to Toslink conversion:

If this equipment does HDMI to Toslink conversion, why can't a receiver do the same thing?

I am not sure sure he's right on the no conversion thing. The Yamaha RX-Z7 also seems to be able to output digital to zone 4, and I don't know if there are any restrictions against HDMI. Does the HDCP supposedly protect audio along with video?
