Hi Everybody,

Well the show report is as done as it is going to get. 700 photos of 149 rooms. with commentary about how many of the rooms sounded.

Lamm ML3s at dusk [driving Marten Coltrane Supreme speakers driven by the new Emm Labs TDS1 and DAC2. Cabling mostly ODIN and Jorma Design PRIME].

Enjoy!

Thanks for the site. Enjoy the succinct commentary as well (when made).

Terrific job as usual. It is appreciated by those who can't make it to RMAF and CES . It's difficult enough to make it to all these rooms at these shows, much less take great pics and sometime commentary. Kudos!

BTW, the RMAF looks to be THE show of the year for the audio afflicted with some fantastic manuf's in attendance. It seems to be somewhat obscuring the raison d'etre for CES.

Well, there goes my workday

Thanks cjfrbw and owl1!

As for CES, it is still bigger than RMAF [but for how long, one can wonder :-)] and it is still the best show to see cost-no-object systems and components for people looking to hear the state-of-the-art.

That may change too, but for now, RMAF has made itself the "people's" show and CES the dealer/distributor/manufacturer/audiophiles-who-must-see-the-latest show.

The mainstream press [CNBC, engadget, etc.] currently only covers CES, though mostly static displays [Krell, Madrigal, Sonus Faber, etc] at the main convention center - not often venturing to the relative boonies where CES puts live high-end audio.

I guess I am arguing all this because I would hate to see just one annual show. I think it is good that we have 3 shows: CES, RMAF and Montreal in North America [the other little shows scattered about get much less than 1/10 the number of attendees per room].

Anyway, that's the way I am seeing things...

Here is a link to the Stereo Times article on this years RMAF. Funny, the opinion here differs somewhat on some of the equipment reviewed verses Audio Federation.

I do like lamm as a high end company becuase they never try to hide anything, you can view internal hardware shots of their products right on the home page.
