Having been a part of the Studio Intros thread for awhile, I can tell you that we have spent many hours trying to get our custom intros to look as close to the real thing as can be.
This is easier said than done most times and can be frustrating even more.
While we have been able to get almost all the major studios done now, there are just a few left and we will probably conquer those soon enough.
I needed a break from the studio intros myself, so I started thinking of other ideas that I would like to see on my screen.
It was about this time that Volley posted his Hi Def Intro. From this thread I was introduced to www.videocopilot.net . Andrew Kreamer does a great job explaining how to do alot of neat stuff on that site. I encourage everyone even remotely interested in video editing to take a look at that site. It's awesome.
I thought about action intros or scary intros, but Volley says that he will be doing a horror one soon so I will wait to see what he comes up with.
So I went with action, but I also wanted it to be more like a movie. I have always been a fan of sci-fi, so I had my theme.
Except for just a couple tweaks here and there I am calling this one done and wanted to submit it for viewing here on AVS.
Hope you like it.
