Hello everyone! This thread is for owners or the curious who have questions to ask or statements to make. I, along with some others around here can be the local authorities on anything from the Professional Monitor Company.

I personally own the TB2S+ and the DB1+. I love my speakers, they give me bass that I cannot find on any other bookshelf/stand mounted speaker, and they are essentially the old bottom of the line for PMC. Top end sparkle and shimmer is realtively easy to find, but it's the bass performance that really starts to separate PMC from others. It's the Advanced Transmission Line that is to blame for that. Feel free to question me on that!

I know there are some PMC owners out there, and plenty of interest in the i-series can light up this thread...

Its official!!
Im now a pmc owner and im loving it!!
Just got a pair db1s+ , the mids are quite smooth even with my crappy denon avr .
A few questions though ..
Can i take out the foam from the rear ports for more bass ?
Which integrated amp should i get for smoother and warmer mids , my room is fairly big around 15 by 18 ft so i need alot of power
I was thinking maybe the nad 375bee would do..
And ofcourse ill be using a sub too..
Any suggestion ppl?

I would look into the Outlaw Audio RR2150. Not only is it a very solid unit, but it's very well priced and it will allow you to easily integrate a sub later on.

Stereophile took a look at it HERE.

Any body know if i can take out the foam from the rear ports? , doesnt say anything in the pmc db1 manual...

From what I see from the pics on their web site it looks like the foam stays in. Maybe it's a form of loading or port turbulence reduction, etc.

Yeah i guess its has something to do with that , i read some where that alot of internal damping has been used in db1+ , maybe the foam is a part of it .
