A friend of mine just found out she has been cast in LotS for a multi-episode arc. She's leaving this weekend for NZ to go film. I don't watch the show but she'll be playing a Mord'Sith.

Does she know the name of the character so we can watch for her?

I can ask her if I see her before she leaves. I talked to her yesterday and she was running around doing a million errands before she left. Being informed you'll be gone for a month with only 3 days to get ready is a little tough.

Be sure and do a screen grab of a scene with her in it, when it finally makes air.

BTW, LotS is not filmed. LotS is a 100% electronic production. So it is recorded, not filmed

To answer your question she can't give out any information right now due to confidentiality agreements. However, she will be using twitter while filming and will post as much as she can, if you're interested.

That is Cool! What a fun experience. Tell her to tweet for the AVS crowd that watches the show.

Ok in the last episode, Kahlan said she would send for her sister to rule in her place.
I thought Kahlan was the only confesser currently. Even her sister (one with the boy) was killed off?
I think she had more than one sister but they did bring back one of them from the dead, Denee, not sure if I spelled it right. She was in another body. Anyway Kahlan, Richard, and Cara left her in a cottage to raise a baby that had been orphaned. I liked the episode, just wish Kahlan remembered more.

They've screwed up the backstory so much that i've given up on keeping track of anything from previous episodes.

I'm better off just acting like every episode is the only episode rather than getting annoyed at all the continuity f-ups every week.

You may have missed it - but her sister was resurrected (albeit in a different body) in another episode this season.

Yes....& that she is the 2nd confesser alive again in a different body.

I disagree. While they deviate from the book, they stay with the storyline they have adopted.

Khalan's sister came back from the dead in a previous episode and she has all her confessor powers, but in another body.

Ugh, so now Cara's going to be dead, as in permanently? Didn't look too good from the previews of next week. That would be a shame as she has been great for the show this season.

I passed that along. I spoke with her via Skype the other night and she said she's having a blast filming with them. She did say the one day was very hot and she was getting heat exhaustion from the Mord'Sith suit.

No, remember, they have brought back those from the underworld before. Heck, even Richard was there and brought back. They have that potion, plus they can probably do it another way. Besdie, she is pretty prominent in the books so I doubt she is gone for good.
Yikes, some spoiler taggage (or at least some mild warning) would have been nice with the whole Cara thing.
It was in the previews for next week, so no spoiler was needed. Anyone that watched Seeker this week could have seen it. But as William said, it's probably a moot point.
I really like this show, read the SoT books until Faith of the Fallen which was dreadful and the last for me. I didn't mind the series not being slavish to the books, but Richard giving up his wizard powers to Nicci? That is a huge departure. I hope it's not a permanent turn of events for the show.
Sorry for the delay in getting this posted.

Did you check Twitter last night.

Great to see Ted Raimi back again for this episode as the same peddler character.

So, do they add artificial grain for distribution?

I can just imagine the "grain haters" getting wind of this and staging a "scrub my picture of all grain" campaign....!

I just checked and damn a MordSith mentioned AVS! Who will step up for the torture? Very nice of her to give us an acknowledgment. I will be looking forward to her episodes as a MordSith.

They obviously do ALL kinds of stuff to the video.

You are going to get a chuckle because of the Wizard this week.

No timing sheets for the next couple of weeks, as it is repeats.

Aye, it was a fun episode, with some good action peppered in. Really enjoying this show.
